Administration
Administration covers the settings that operate in the background. These settings control what your team can do, who sees what, and what Lychee sends automatically.
Most of these settings are under Settings. Most of them are for the business owner only. If other people can use a setting, the guide tells you.
Prepare your business
Section titled “Prepare your business”Do these steps in this sequence. Each step needs something that the step before it created.
- Groups. Put your employees into groups. Lychee sends all other work to these groups. See Set up groups.
- Brands. Record the brands that you sell. See Set up brands.
- Locations. Record your stores and connect them to brands and groups. Then decide who sees which products. See Set up locations.
- Email sending. Verify a domain so that Lychee sends emails from your sales associates. See Set up email sending.
Configure the apps
Section titled “Configure the apps”- Presentations. Decide who records presentations, who gets a copy, and what Lychee sends by email. See Configure presentations.
- Interest list. Let products accept interests, control auto-allocation and the follow-up period, and choose who gets notifications. See Configure the interest list.
- Tasks. Make Lychee create follow-up tasks and reminders for your team when events occur. See Configure tasks.
We will add more guides to this section in the future.
A note on permissions
Section titled “A note on permissions”Permissions control almost all of Lychee. You give permissions to groups under Settings → Access → Access Control. Sometimes a page or an action in these guides is not available to you. In that case, you probably do not have the permission. Or, only the business owner can use that setting.
